Meet the AYA Team
Sharon CopeMy name is Sharon and I start ed as the AYA Provision Manager and Designated Safeguarding Lead in August 2023. . I have been part of the Sun Hill Junior School team for 14 years and 5 years as a Higher Level Teaching Assistant covering the classes whilst teachers do their class planning, preparation and assessment.
Previously to this I enjoyed 25 years of working with children and young adults with a range of special educational needs in residential special schools, children's homes and supporting them in the family home. When not working, I enjoy spending time with my family, travelling the world, camping locally and caring for my numerous pets. |
Gemma CheyneyMy name is Gemma and I am the Breakfast Club Lead, Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead and also part of the Early years team. I have a BTec National Diploma in Childhood studies and a Level 3 in Play work I have over 20 years experience working with children. I have worked in nurseries, pre-schools and run a holiday club, with managerial roles included. I came to work for the AYA in February 2015 and have bee part of the management team for a few years.. As well as working for the AYA, I work as part of the Learning support team at Sun Hill Junior School. I like to spend my spare time with my family and friends, Reading and walking my dog.

Anna PearceMy name is Anna, I joined the AYA in 2014 I have a Level 3 in Early years care and education and have worked in early years for the past 20 years. I enjoy spending time with my family, taking our dog for walks and going on camping holidays.

Jackson Parrett
My name is Jackson, I joined the AYA team as Holiday Cover and enjoyed it so much decided to stay. In my spare time I like to participate in archery competitions and I am also an archery coach.
